If you read our blog posts, you may know by now that besides MotionFlowMedia we work on some side projects called  Loftspiration (home decor blog) and Tropicexplorers (travel/photography blog) and were asked by SO Sofitel Bangkok to created some interior and lifestyle shots for them. We enjoyed every minute there. The location was gorgeous. This hotel has everything that one can wish, awesome view, excellent design and top notch food.  Ohhh that food… 🙂

We started shooting at noon with the interior shots, went through some of the selected rooms.

A little back story: “The key theme of their interior design is the Tree of Life, an ancient symbol of immortality and the center of all being. So you can recognize The Five Elements (water, earth, wood, metal, and fire) in the interior – every element has its own design style of course”  – check out Loftspration’s blog post for more information and images.

After the interior photos, we started to shoot the lifestyle images for their Instagram channel. We wanted to capture the whole vibe of the location but at the same time, we wanted to make it look good on Instagram and make it appealing for the younger generations also. So for example, we took some underwater shots with GoproDome to capture the underwater scene but also the awesome view of the hotel.
